Spring is finally here! The snow is melting and the ground is drinking up the excess water. The cows are traveling far out into the pasture to forage for fresh food even though we are still feeding them bails. The warm weather has them excited and almost ready to give birth! New born baby cows will soon be in the spotlight here at Lost River Permaculture, but until then plans need to be drawn and preparations made.
Today we fixed up more fence line in the feedlots. They are ready to house their new inhabitants!
